Better Energy Systems recently announced two new handheld solar power systems.
The new products are the most recent offerings in Better Energy Systems' Mobile Power Service. The Solio Magnesium claims to be the most powerful solar charger on the market. Engineered to meet the demands required by more power hungry products and applications, it combines the most efficient solar cells, a more powerful internal battery, and a rugged, environmentally-friendly magnesium alloy shell. With maximum rated output of 8 watts, it can charge an average cell phone approximately 3 times. An AV tip allows for wall charging from a conventional power outlet.
The Hybrid 1000 is capable of powering an array of mobile devices without relying on conventional power sources. By combining a high efficiency solar panel with a large capacity integrated Lithium-Ion battery, the Hybrid 1000 has the ability to keep any hand-held electronic device charged on the go. Housed in a rugged, weatherproof case, the Hybrid 1000 has sophisticated internal circuitry, a built-in charging cable, and a multitude of interchangeable tips - all allowing for universal compatibility with current and future portable electronic devices; including mobile phones, PDAs, music players, digital cameras, GPS systems and game consoles.
