Approved Apple repair centres in Russia are reportedly struggling to find legit parts to carry out repairs for devices after the nation was sanctioned by a raft of nations after beginning the invasion of Ukraine.
A number of repair centres told newspaper Izvestia, demand for repairs have overtaken stock making it not possible to fulfil all repair requests.
One centre told the publication there are no replacement screens for the iPhone 12 Pro Max, which launched last year, and those that do receive repairs face up to five working days for completion.
A repair centre representative told Izvestia, the repair process has now become “complicated” as logistics have been disrupted.
Another location reported no batteries left in stock. An analyst speaking to the newspaper confirmed repairs are often being denied as components are drying up.
